In spite of all the dramatic antics and rage inspired lyrics from the late great Tupac Shakur, what many people don't know about was The Code. The Code was a foundation started by Pac and his stepfather along with Ms. Erica Ford in order to diffuse Black on Black crime within the youth of America. But when Tupac died it didn't take away Erica's dedication to the cause.

Since 1994 and since The Code, Erica Ford has been a huge activist against youth violence in urban cities across the US. She's organized programs for young people in the Black and Latino communities that teach our youth how to better handle confrontation and how to get along with one another.  Part of what has made Erica Ford even more popular along with her new foundation Life Camp is the involvement of the Hip Hop community.  Artists always show their support for Peace Week and this year it will be no different. Some of the celebrities involved this year will be Russell Simmons and his nephew Diggy, the new boy band on the scene Mindless Behavior, "Salt" of Salt n' Pepper, and many others who will confirm soon.
