That one word conjures up a few thoughts in your mind. Some being the borough of bullys, tough, the home of  BIG & JAY Z, where fighters are born, in Mike Tyson and where champions are made, such as Michael Jordan. More recently there is a new representative, Ravishin Swiss a rap artist from the streets of Brownsville. Ravishin Swiss has been grinding to make his mark and to separate himself from other  artist on the come up. Swiss' journey began into music at the young age of 15, where hearing other rappers and thinking, his flow was tighter, wordplay better and his concepts would be more relatable to the masses. At that point, he began to let his pen work. Being a part of the R.O.R.Os (REAL ONLY RECOGNIZE OFFICIAL) a group of Brooklyn entrepreneurs who started their own label, Ravishing Swiss stands on his own. With his catalog of music building and his tireless grind, Ravishin Swiss is making his presence known in the world of music. His latest song "CONVERTIBLE" ft. Bentley, is a high energy club banger. It makes me want to dance, when even my two step is off. This song is definitely a crowd pleaser when Ravishing Swiss hits the stage. The second song I was pleasured to hear was "BEEN DOIN THAT" ft. his R.O.R.O team members TOUCH AMIL and GC GAMBINO this is one for the streets, however with its catchy hook and relatable subject I can hear it being played on any radio station in the mix between Troy Ave and The LOX. All in all, Ravishin Swiss has the staying power and skills to be mentioned with the likes of this generations top rappers. You can get his music via SoundCloud and YouTube.                 fb @ Ravishin RORO Swiss

Receiving an HIV diagnosis can be scary and overwhelming. Diagnosis also marks the start of a lifelong journey towards managing and living with your HIV. When I was first diagnosed with HIV in 1995 and then with AIDS in 1998, there were limited resources available to learn about the disease, and how to manage it. There were no stories in the media about an African-American woman like myself living with HIV. I felt alone—like I had nowhere to turn. Remembering how I felt upon receiving my diagnosis is what inspired me to collaborate with Merck to…
